In recognition of Men\u2019s Mental Health Month this June, Beyond Finance launched a nationwide awareness campaign to spotlight the silent mental health struggles men face, especially when it comes to financial stress, secrecy, and shame. The campaign was grounded in Beyond Finance\u2019s national survey findings<\/a>, which revealed that nearly half of men admit to hiding money behaviors, while 40% say money woes have left them feeling isolated from friends and loved ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To lead the conversation, Beyond Finance\u2019s certified financial therapist Nathan Astle focused on destigmatizing financial vulnerability among men. Astle participated in 28 media interviews across top-tier television and radio outlets, bringing his expertise and his message of compassion and connection to over 20 million viewers and listeners nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his interviews, Astle urged men to recognize financial wellness as a form of self-care, encouraging more open conversations around money, masculinity, and mental health. \u201cWhen men internalize financial pressure, it often leads to isolation, anxiety, and shame,\u201d he shared. \u201cBut money doesn\u2019t have to be a silent struggle. We heal through honesty and shared experience.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Viewers were invited to download Beyond Finance\u2019s free financial wellness guide<\/a> that offers a mix of reflective exercises, emotional check-ins, and practical tools to help men move from secrecy to self-awareness, and ultimately toward healthier money behaviors and relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
