The report also recognizes legitimate debt resolution options as an important part of helping consumers recover when debt becomes unsustainable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;For many families, financial hardship isn&#8217;t the result of bad decisions \u2014 it&#8217;s the cumulative impact of years of rising costs outpacing household income and other hardships,&#8221; said Vanessa Hering, client success officer and EVP of strategy and operations at Beyond Finance. &#8220;The findings validate what our team sees every day.
