Launched in 2022, the monthly giveaway is one of the ways Beyond Finance goes above and beyond to support its clients. Through the initiative, the company pays off a portion \u2014 often the entirety \u2014 of a client&#8217;s enrolled debt, delivering life-changing relief alongside its core services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Richard&#8217;s path to Beyond Finance began after the sudden and unexpected loss of his wife of 20 years in January 2024. &#8220;She had made the selfless decision to be an organ donor,&#8221; he said. &#8220;She ended up saving three lives.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a single father to his then-16-year-old son, Richard was determined to keep his son&#8217;s life as stable as possible. &#8220;I vowed that this kid&#8217;s gone through so much \u2014 I&#8217;m not going to change his life even more than it already has been,&#8221; he said. &#8220;\u2019We&#8217;re not going anywhere. You&#8217;re not going to leave your school.\u2019&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keeping that promise meant relying on credit to cover expenses on a single income, and Richard&#8217;s balances climbed quickly until they were over $18,000. He soon found himself paying around $700 a month just to cover minimum payments. &#8220;It became an unhealthy stress in my life,&#8221; he said.
