The Numbers Behind the Stories
Most people arrive at Beyond Finance after something happened that they didn't plan for.
Among our clients …
Behind these numbers is a wider range of people than most would guess. Clients enroll anywhere from $5,000 to more than $250,000 in unsecured debt. And they come from every income level — plenty earn well and still need help. Debt doesn't discriminate.
For our clients, the way out looks the same. One lower monthly payment, balances that finally come down instead of holding steady when making minimum payments, and a real end date. The math finally works in their favor, so that the effort you're putting in actually gets them somewhere. And since money stress was never only about money, what changes is bigger than a balance.
Every story on this page is one person's experience. But the pattern behind them is consistent, and it's documented across our clients.
Median time to an engaged client's first resolved debt
Engaged clients received their first Resolution Offer within three months of enrolling
Resolved in the first year, on average, for engaged clients
Average reduction in monthly debt payments compared with what clients were paying before enrolling
Improvement in self-reported client financial habits by graduation, from 5.7 to 8.1 out of 10
That last figure comes from more than 10,000 program graduates who told us where they started and where they ended up. Getting out of debt is the result people seek us out for. The change in how they handle money afterward is what makes it last.
Frequently Asked Questions About Client Results
Are these results typical?
Individual results vary, and no two clients have the exact same outcomes, but the average client frees up $608 a month compared with what they were paying their creditors before enrolling, based on our 2025 Outcomes Report.
Are these real clients?
Yes. Every person featured on this page is an actual Beyond Finance current client or graduate, speaking about their own stories. They were compensated for their time in sharing their real experiences.
How long did it take these clients to get results?
Relief starts with the first lower monthly payment, which happens immediately at enrollment. When it comes to resolving individual debts the median time to a client's first resolved debt is about 90 days (for clients who make consistent deposits). Clients typically resolve and pay off their enrolled debt in 24 to 48 months, though the timeline depends on the amount of debt enrolled and the deposit amount.
What does life look like after the program?
That's the question our graduate exclusives are built around. In their own words, graduates describe a total shift in how they live and think about money once their debt is behind them. Beyond the immediate physical relief — sleeping better, shedding daily anxiety, and filling their pantries — graduates talk about a brand-new level of control. They build monthly budgets and start putting money into real savings. Most importantly, they get to say "yes" to life again: buying homes, taking family trips, planning for retirement, and enjoying guilt-free meals out with money they've actually saved.
